Strawberry, Kiwi and Banana Salad |

| This is a simple combination of colourful fruit that makes good use of strawberries in season. It can be an elegant breakfast food or a jazzy dessert. | | Ingredients | 1 pint strawberries, washed, hulled and sliced 2 bananas, peeled, halved and sliced 4 kiwifruit, peeled and cut in chunks 1/4 cup orange juice vanilla yogurt | | Directions | Mix all the fruit together. Pour juice over the fruit and chill for at least 30 mins. To serve, spoon fruit into a dish and top with a dollop of yogurt. For a fancy dessert, layer fruit and yogurt in a parfait glass or serve fruit in patty shells topped with yogurt. This is a recipe high in vitamins C and A. Serves 8 for dessert or 4 for breakfast. Or one very hungry child who loves fruit and yogurt! |
